Human Resource Management has been the spine of expertise that has provided a common theme throughout Philip’s working life. Practical experience has been gained through HR project work in the food manufacturing industry, designing and implementing training programmes and workforce planning schemes. More recently a year spent supporting teachers as a union caseworker and Local Association Secretary have developed an depth of knowledge that can only be acquired through dealing with difficult management situations. Academically this understanding has been supported through the attainment of a Masters Degree in Business Adminstration, and a CIPD qualification in Employment Law. Having qualified as a teacher, the last twelve years have seen Philip passing on his knowledge of Business to students in a Leicestershire school.
This unique blend of specialist knowledge and experience, combined with academic recognition and first-hand experience of the education sector, places Philip in the ideal position to help schools and charities design and implement HR policies and procedures fit for purpose with their individual circumstance.
